GuruSetu is a prototype teacher-training resource. These working terms describe the current service and its basic rules. They require legal review before the platform is opened to the public.

Using GuruSetu

You may use the public directory and, after signing in, the learning tools provided by the prototype. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email address. Keep that code and your active session to yourself.

Use the service lawfully and preserve access for others. Respect access controls, keep requests within normal use, and keep comments free of harassment. Share only material that you have the right to publish.

Your notes, comments and profile

Notes are intended for your own use. The current interface makes comments and display names visible to signed-in members. If you opt in to the leaderboard, your display name, level and points for the current 30-day window are public. Leaderboard participation is off by default and can be changed from your profile.

You are responsible for what you write. Keep comments relevant to the lesson and free of private information about yourself or anyone else. Material may be removed when needed to operate the prototype or address misuse.

Learning material and outside links

GuruSetu provides teacher-development material for learning and discussion. It awards no qualification. Follow the appropriate institution’s advice for institutional decisions. Summaries, highlights, flashcards and links may contain mistakes or become outdated, so check important decisions against the original video and an appropriate primary source.

Videos are provided through YouTube, and additional resources lead to third-party websites. Each outside service controls its content, availability and terms. External publishers remain responsible for their pages.

Points, reviews and leaderboard

Points, streaks, badges, flashcard schedules and leaderboard positions are learning aids within GuruSetu. They carry no cash value or certification of professional performance. The rules may be corrected or adjusted while the prototype is being tested. The current rules are explained on the points and streaks page.

Prototype availability

The service is still being developed. Features may change, stop working or be withdrawn. Access may be interrupted, and prototype data could be lost during maintenance or a deployment change. Export any notes you need to keep.

The service may be unavailable, contain errors or be unsuitable for a particular institutional process. Use a qualified adviser for legal, medical or other professional advice.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what the current build stores, how member data appears in the service and which outside providers are involved.

These terms may change as GuruSetu develops. The date at the top will be updated when the working terms change.
