# Spring Semester 12: In Full Bloom: Highlights

**Resource person:** GuruSetu - An animated series for teachers in Indian higher education

1. Silence can leave the targeted person feeling abandoned; a safe, clear response communicates that the behaviour is unacceptable.
2. Assign groups deliberately and rotate meaningful roles so that the same students are not repeatedly excluded or left silent.
3. It creates an explicit opportunity for different members to enter the discussion, supported by a norm against mocking accents.
4. Write the procedure, assign responsibility and make the route visible, so it does not depend on one person remembering.
5. Individual conversations work alongside changes to rules, access, supervision and grievance processes that support belonging.
